My Holiday in Christchurch

I went to Christchurch in the holidays we drived there from Nelson. We went there for a squash tournament. It was my brothers squash tournament. When we were not at the squash tournament first we went to Qe2. I went on all the hydro slides there. My favourite one was called The Terror Tube. Next we went to the movies in the mall to see the last air bender. We went to science alive and we played glow in the dark mini golf. My favourite thing there was the vertical slide. We went to Qe2 again and  then we drived home to Nelson

Cricket Practice

Today I had my first cricket practce . It goes from five to six. We mainly pratice our bowling straight and getting good length. We practced some throwing and fielding. We have the practice at the Botanics but we do not  ppractice on the pitch , we practice at the nets.

To day was the first day of the new term.It is the last term of the year term four so we need to work very hard. Well we did not work very that hard today because we had bike safety training. We learnt the rules in the intersection they are. Left gives way to all. Right gives way to straight. Give way to the person on your right. The last rule the courtesy rule. That is all the road rules for an intersection. That is why I had to bike to school. It is not a big deal for me biking to school because I do it basically every day. Any way while the police officer was telling us something to do with the intersetion I was watching a man riding on his bike . Suddenly his front wheel hit a curve  and he went flying off his bike. The bike fell on him and the chain of his bike cut his leg and there was blood all over his leg. He got taken to hospital to get his leg fixed. The end.

Mice

After lunch I came into my class room and I saw some mice in a mouse cage on a table. I knew that we were getting some mice but I did not  know that we got them today. We got one male and two females. We sat in a circle and we passed the mice around the circle. When it was almost my turn to hold the mouse I was scared that I was going to drop the mouse and hurt it. The person next to me passed the mouse into my hand. It's feet felt prickly crawling all over my hand . The male mouse is called Flip and one female is called Oats and the other one is called Inky.

4 Square

Four square is a game  that I like to play at lunch time. Room 2 play 4 square almost every day.
This is how you play. You get a ball and you have to hit the ball on one bounce into someone elses square. If you are in the middle square you are the king. The king drops the ball and lets it bounce once then hits the ball into someone elses square. If you hit the ball onto the line you are out. If you also hit the ball into no ones square and out of the court you are out. Also if you hit the ball with out it bouncing  you are out.
If all the nine squares are full you can wait in a line and if someone gets out you can got into a square if you are next in line. The squares are three by three so the king is in the middle because it is the hardest square.

MY HOLIDAYS

On Saturday I had a soccer game. We won four one. Sam got a hat-trick and they scored one own goal off a corner. I got player of the day. 
On Sunday I had a J Grade Celtic Squash tournament. I played three games. I won one game and lost two. I came second in my group. 
On Monday I went up Mt Arthur with Sam. There was lots of ice up there and we kept on sliding down it. It was fun.

Term 3 Goals

1. To get on to pen in my writing book.

2.To get 36 under 3 in 36 facts and get 5 in a row so I finish.

3.To get better at spelling this term and practice spelling at home.

4.To write better and longer stories in my written language.

5. To do better powerpoints on the computer.
